Bronic consulted the United Nations by providing a statement with a proposed framework for the systematic monitoring of advances in Science and Technology through an active design process.

Bronic contributed to defining engineered biology as a critical technology for the UK as part of the Science and Technology Framework, setting goals for science and technology through 2030.

With the International Science and Technology Center (ISTC) and Health Security Partners (HSP), Bronic delivered workshops in Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan to strengthen the understanding and implementation of biosecurity and cyberbiosecurity measures. This was achieved by bringing together key stakeholders from academic institutions and national laboratories. Specifically, the workshops targeted individuals responsible for overseeing, facilitating, and supporting research collaborations that involve potential risks.

BACAC, the EU CBRN CoE, and the U.S. International Security and Non-Proliferation Office of Cooperative Threat Reduction organized the International Conference on COVID-19 Lessons Learned. Held in Tbilisi, Georgia, from October 3-7, 2022, the conference aimed to enhance cooperation and coordination at both regional and international levels. Bronic was invited to deliver a keynote address on dual-use materials in the biosector and cyberbiosecurity, sharing expertise at the nexus of biotechnology and cybersecurity.

Bronic was commissioned to conduct a systematic review and provide recommendations to improve the security and privacy of non-mobile apps and non-mobile app stores. This work was part of the UK government’s £2.6 billion National Cyber Strategy which is helping to protect and promote the UK digital economy. A key part of this is improving cyber resilience across the economy and making sure the technology we use every day at home and at work is secure.

In partnership with the Ministry of External Affairs of India and with financial support from the European Union in the framework of Council Decision 2021/2072, UNODA delivered a conference ‘Scientific and Technological Developments: Benefits and risks for the Biological Weapons Convention’, held from 11-12 October 2022 in New Delhi, India to assess the latest scientific and technological advances and their implications on the implementation of the BWC. Bronic and experts from academia and industry around the world were invited to share their insights as speakers and panelists.
